For those who do not know, I am a Latin teacher, and I have been working on putting together a website with resources for first-year Latin students. The website is http://firstyearlatin.wikispaces.com. On the left hand side you'll see a series of pages/documents that can be viewed and downloaded. If you're looking for help with basic Latin concepts, feel free to check it out. If you have any comments for how I could improve it, leave me a comment here. I'm looking to add some video, audio, and pictures this summer.
Not sure what's coming next...it might be more comments about Hamlet or Iliad depending on what comes up.
I'm also reading the new Stephen King novel, "11/22/63". It's pretty interesting, I might have a post about that in the near future too. Stay tuned!

Thank Jesus! I just discovered (well re-discovered, I knew about it briefly) your blog and I'm struggling to prepare for my first Latin test and I'm drastically behind in memorization, and Wheelock, while lovely, is enormous and hard to navigate. I'll be stealing all this stuff to study with!
ReplyDeleteP.S. This is what I get for doing an honors classics majors with a bunch of people who took AP Vergil.
Whoops, didn't mean for that to appear under the Solstice Players name. That's quite a throwback...
